*How does the first loss protection work?
Ilu Impact Bonds invest in limited partnership units of the Ilu Women’s Empowerment Fund which provide cash flow to pay the interest and principal on your bond. In addition, Ilu Impact Bonds benefit from the added protection of a 10% cash reserve which can be used to make interest or principal payments to you in the event that returns from the Fund are not sufficient.
