Make an impact with your investment
Deetken Impact specializes in impact investing – we make a positive social and environmental impact in the Americas.
Making a difference with strong returns.
That’s what we’re all about.

What we do
We invest in emerging economies to generate long-term returns while contributing to sustainable growth and prosperity.
We prioritize returns and capital preservation, thus we strategically hand-pick and rigorously assess our limited number of investees. As impact investors, we maintain high standards for sustainability and financial performance, leading to attractive and previously unexplored avenues of growth.
Impact is core to our investing approach. We invest in businesses across Latin America & the Caribbean that significantly improve lives in under-served communities, vitalize economies, advance gender equality, and strengthen climate resilience. We go beyond just providing capital to accompanying investees through strategic advice and customized engagement.
Deetken Impact Makes a Difference.

Electrifying Rural Colombia
Dispower is a Colombian company dedicated to maintaining and operating off-grid solar systems in non-interconnected zones, which cover 52% of the country and house 1.9 million people, many without electricity. By providing clean energy to homes, schools, businesses, and infrastructure, Dispower supports a government-led initiative to electrify remote areas. Through community engagement, education, and customer service, it helps vulnerable communities overcome isolation and infrastructure gaps, making sustainable energy accessible to those who need it most.
DISPOWER

Affordable Housing in Guatemala City
The Villa Luz housing project in Guatemala City is transforming affordable urban living with over 300 high-quality apartments. As social housing under the Guatemala Insured Mortgage Promotion Institute (FHA), it offers subsidized mortgage terms, expanding homeownership for low- and middle-income families. Strategically located, Villa Luz reduces long commutes while providing a safe, well-connected community with family-friendly amenities, including an on-site daycare. Strong demand underscores the need for dignified housing, with over half of the units purchased by women, highlighting its impact on expanding homeownership access.
VILLA LUZ

Caribbean's Largest Solar PV Park
Deetken Impact Sustainable Energy made its first investment in the Monte Plata Phase I solar project in 2021, supporting the Dominican Republic’s transition to clean energy. Originally commissioned in 2016 as the Caribbean’s largest solar project at 33.4 MWp, Monte Plata expanded in 2024 with Deetken Impact’s investment in its 42.2 MWp Phase II, bringing total capacity to 73.4 MWp. The expanded facility will generate 116,000 MWh of clean energy annually, preventing up to 1.5 million tonnes of CO₂ emissions over its lifetime.
